The Restore Settings from File dialog is used to load ‘Settings Files’ (files with an .MDS extension). These contain driver settings that have been saved using the Save Settings to File button, for a variety of purposes such as driver setting profiles for individual cards, for loading custom driver settings on a different PC, or just backing-up current settings as a precautionary measure.
